Tal com teníem previst, del 7 a l’11 de març de 2022, els alumnes de 4t de l’ESO han participat en les activitats programades en el projecte Erasmus+ que el col·legi està desenvolupant, al costat d’altres centres escolars de Polònia, Turquia i Bulgària.
Aquest projecte ja es va haver d’ajornar a causa de la pandèmia pel coronavirus. Per segona vegada s’ha tornat a veure afectat per la situació de guerra que s’està vivint a Ucraïna. El dimecres 2 de maig, vàrem mantindre una reunió amb les famílies de l’alumnat participant en la mobilitat. Veiérem els pros i els contres de desplaçar-nos fins a la ciutat de Pulawy a Polònia, on ens estaven esperant els nostres amfitrions. La decisió va ser unànime, la millor opció era seguir avant amb el projecte però participant amb connexions en línia.
Informarem al col·legi coordinador de Polònia de la nostra decisió i en qüestió d’hores ja teníem adaptat el programa perquè poguérem connectar-nos cada dia com si fórem allí. A través de les aplicacions i plataformes de missatgeria instantània, cridades de veu i videocridades hem visitat un camp d’extermini d’època nazi, hem passejat per una bonica localitat típica de la zona situada al costat del va riu Vístula, hem practicat balls típics de Polònia, hem fet una visita per la localitat d’acolliment, Pulawy, i com no podia ser d’una altra manera, hem parlat, aprés dels nostres companys i compartit experiències sobre la història de la democràcia als països participants i de com fer una escola més democràtica, justa i solidària.
Al juny serem els amfitrions dels nostres companys de projecte, que acollirem a les nostres cases, en el nostre col·legi i a Mislata, on els mostrarem els nostres signes d’identitat, el nostre patrimoni cultural i continuarem aprofundint en els valors democràtics.
ERASMUS + SECONDARY “YOUR VOICE FOR TOMORROW’S EUROPE”
As we had planned, from 7th to 11th March 2022, the 4th ESO students have participated in the activities programmed in the Erasmus+ project that the school is developing, together with other schools in Poland, Turkey and Bulgaria.
At the beginning, the project had to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Currently, it has been affected by the war situation in Ukraine. On Wednesday 2nd May, we had a meeting with the families of the students participating in the mobility. We discussed the pros and cons of travelling to the city of Puławy in Poland, where our hosts were waiting for us. The decision among families and teachers was unanimous; therefore, the best option was to continue with the project but participating online instead.
We informed the coordinating school in Poland of our decision and within hours, they adapted the programme thus we could be in contact every day as if we were there. Through instant messaging applications and platforms, voice calls and video calls, we had the opportunity to visit a Nazi extermination camp. We also have walked through a beautiful typical local town located next to the Vistula River. We have practiced as well typical Polish dances and we have visited the host town, Puławy, and indeed, we have talked, learned from our classmates and shared experiences about the history of democracy in the participating countries and how to make a more democratic, fair and supportive school.
In June, we will be hosting our project partners, who we will welcomed in our homes, in our school and in Mislata, where we will show them our identity, our cultural heritage and we will continue to deepen our democratic values.
